Taylor's Market

Rehabilitation of an historic residential and commercial building that had been vacant for many years and a blight on the West Broadway commercial district.  Taylor’s Market is now home to 7 low-income families, the Oven Door Bakery, and the SBNDC offices.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Father Martin Co-operative Housing

New construction of 34 units of affordable co-operative housing on vacant, blighted land, this development was completed in the spring of 1994.

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Castle Cove Senior Housing

New construction of 65 low-income elderly apartments financed through the HUD 202 program, SBNDC co-developed this property with Co-operative Services, INC., and national developer of senior housing.

 

 

 

 

 

Rental Housing Rehabilitation

 

SBNDC owns and manages 45 units of rental housing in seven buildings purchased and rehabilitated throughout our neighborhood.
